In 1979, VLS launched its flagship journal Compendium, the first journal to feature in-depth medical review articles and the first to offer continuing education credits. It continues to set standards for editorial integrity and quality today. Leveraging the success of Compendium, VLS introduced a number of other popular publications including Veterinary Technician, the only monthly clinical journal for this important target audience, and Veterinary Therapeutics, which puts important research in the industry on the fastest track to publication.
